Friends! We’re so excited that the last Sunday of the month is going to feature an open jam (of music; ha!) from now on — and this coming Sunday is our first! We tried out an open jam once in the spring and it was wonderful. By the end of the morning, we had a lovely little group of folks playing whatever they willed.
If you’ve ever thought it’d be fun to play at The Sunday Shortstack but haven’t dared to, if you love jamming with old friends and new friends, if you’re coming for pancakes and just happen to be carrying an instrument — please, play with us! The ever-so-talented Myron Groover will be holding down the fort; he’ll have songs for inspiration, instruments to borrow, and a whole lot of energy to jam along with. No matter if you’re going to play one song or a whole set, we really do want you there. Bring an instrument if you can or bring a few! Bring a friend! Come for the pancakes and stay for the tunes. Featuring: you.
Speaking of pancakes, it is officially autumn now and we’ll be serving up apple pancakes with caramel sauce to celebrate. We’ve had these at The Shortstack before and they are kind of unbelievable. There will be a vegan version of the caramel sauce (hint: it’s coconutty and delicious), and of course gluten-free options. Plus homemade yogurt, butter, and the very best maple syrup! As always, it’s all organic, it’s all homemade, it’s all for you.
Come out and make some music with us!
